Our experience at PTT was nothing short of life changing for our family and our son. When we had very little experience in knowing where to turn to and... read more who to trust with the care of our son, we stumbled upon the PTT website and saw some wonderful and warm reviews and decided to call Jeremy. His compassionate and gentle approach was exactly what we needed and immediately made us feel comfortable and interested in learning more. Our son even opted to talk with Jeremy and came away with a really good feeling about PTT and the approach, and while he still wasn’t all in on going, the discussion with Jeremy relieved a lot of his apprehension. The intake with Cindy was thorough and professional and she shared a lot of good information about the program as well. The weekly parent sessions run by Cindy on Sunday mornings provided excellent therapy for us and we were able to bond with the other parents. On the day of arrival, Kathie did an amazing job of welcoming our son and the entire family and putting us at ease. She has a very kind and soothing way about her that told us that our son was in good hands. Jeremy and Kathie’s overall leadership and manner set the tone for the entire PTT experience. What can I say about the support staff? The CA’s were an incredible group of people who provided support, friendship and a listening ear to our son. Derek, Sophia, Ali, Katie, Ned and many more provided a support structure that was friendly yet firm and structured. Our son really bonded with the staff and made him feel very comfortable. What can I say about the therapists? Dr. Miller and her team were absolutely the best. Chris was our son’s primary therapist and immediately allowed our son to get comfortable and open up. Chris was the best fit for our son and provided great counsel and support. Lucy is another amazing therapist that provided a warm presence for our son to talk to when Chris was not around. Courtney was our family therapist and had the entire family opening up, crying and becoming even closer as a family unit. She had just the right touch in those sessions. Dr. Kimn provided psychiatric support in a compassionate and supportive manner that allowed us to make informed decisions on medicinal aspects of our son’s care. Each Tuesday, I looked forward to our check-in chat with Dr. Kimn and peppered him with questions and he was a patient ear who gave really great advice and feedback. Surrounding all of this focused and intense individual and group therapy was a constant stream of activities that struck the right balance so our son could have fun and breathe a little bit. Surfing at the beach, trapezing, karaoke, writing original songs on the keyboard with Ali and Chris, weekly visits to Barnes and Noble, Sunday night bake-offs, etc gave our son memories of a lifetime and allowed him to really bond with his PTT peers and the support staff. Our son also loved the weekly yoga, exercise, music and other extracurricular activities that were brought to the doorstep of PTT. And Cyril the chef was the cream of the crop and our son is no longer a picky eater! Our son arrived at PTT skeptical of therapy, thinking no one could help him, and feeling he would not be able to relate to his peers. From day one, he embraced the PTT experience and worked really hard on himself. That was only possible because of the myriad of benefits I highlighted above. As a result, he walked out of PTT fully embracing the value of individual and group therapy, realizing that it was possible to get the help that he needed, and bonding with his peers such that he considers them friends for life and a surrogate family that will serve as ongoing support for each other. He really loved his PTT experience and loved the all the staff. We are immensely grateful and thankful to the entire PTT team. The 6 week stay far exceeded our expectations and provided a solid foundation for our son to build upon as we move forward.

I went here three years ago, an absolute mess of a kid who had no desire to live or really do anything at all. I literally jumped at every sound,... read more flinched at every movement, honestly if I met myself back then I would have deemed myself a lost cause. But my treatment team didn’t. For the first time in my entire life I felt safe and loved, and to be honest I didn’t trust it at all. I acted out, waiting for them to prove my theory that all people are violent and malicious, but they never did. the staff took care of me for two months, putting up with all my dumb stunts, and helping me through every low. I was able to discover a personality for the first time, and I truly consider PTT the first real home I ever had. Anyways, the whole reason I’m writing this is because I just turned 18. I made it to be an ‘official adult’, something my younger self swore would never happen. I still struggle with an array of mental health problems, relapses, almost dying blah blah but the difference is that now I want to live, something I used to swear to all the wonderful people at PTT I would never want. Anyways. All this to say, parents, if PTT is anything like it was a couple years ago I truly believe it is the best place to send your kids who need any sort of help. After ending up in terrible rehab situations after here, it makes me appreciate good places like this even more. Places with people that actually give a damn. Means the world. I still hate family therapy though 🙂

Our daughter was here in March. I did so much research and when I found PTT I knew it was the place. From the very beginning to the end of... read more her 3 week stay I knew we made the right decision. The staff is absolutely top notch. Jeremy helped us from the beginning get set up and coordinate when would be best to come. Although we live out of state it was worth every penny we paid. Our daughter is like a new person. We still have her in IOP back home. However, the treatment and skills she learned at PTT will be with her her whole life. We are so grateful for the excellent care and support she got. They really involve the family as well. It was so helpful since we couldn’t be there to see and go through treatment. If we ever have a relapse our daughter will for sure come back here. I can’t recommend PTT enough for their amazing program to help a struggling teen.

When our daughter was struggling with depression and anxiety, I remember searching endlessly and stumbling upon Pacific Teen Treatment. You can trust the amazing reviews; it was truly a... read more life changing experience for our daughter. Jeremy was incredibly helpful and compassionate during our intake interview and continued to support our family even months after her departure. Every single person that works at PTT is invested in the healing, growth, and well-being of each child. We found all of the therapists to be top notch and due to their consistent presence in the home, they connect easily and authentically with all of the teens. Our daughter learned so much and grew from the wide variety of therapeutic approaches and activities that they offered. Their staff psychiatrist is outstanding and works closely with both parents and teens to educate everyone on the approach to treatment, medication management, and long-term goals for your child. PTT has a comprehensive approach that includes a multitude of resources for parents and offers regular ways for you to heal and grow alongside your teen. They also supported our family upon discharge by ensuring that professional support was in place for our family (individual and family therapists) and that a comprehensive home plan was outlined and established. We were so thankful to find a residential program that offered consistent boundaries for our daughter without utilizing a punitive system. Our entire family continues to rave about the countless ways that PTT has positively impacted our lives. Just last weekend I overheard my 17-year-old daughter tell someone that her time at PTT saved her life. If your child is struggling and you have an opportunity to send them to Pacific Teen Treatment, you will not regret your decision.

there’s about a million words i could say about ptt, but i’ll start with this: it was absolutely amazing. when my parents and i were looking for the right residential... read more for me, there was a lot of fear and stress. we had heard various stories about teens entering a residential facility and leaving it years later with more trauma than when they initially entered. with that in mind, i’m not going to lie, choosing ptt was scary! however, during the intake process, jeremy’s communication was absolutely stellar; he answered all of my questions and concerns no matter how silly, and did the same for my parents. when time actually came for me to move in and start treatment, the support i got was better than i could’ve imagined. the staff remained stern yet beyond supportive which fostered an environment that was perfect for personal development. even on the days when a client misbehaved, they were held accountable whilst still being provided productive treatment. the overall layout of the program was also a perfect mix of therapy and fun. despite having group and 1on1 therapy every day, the movie nights, game nights, and daily outings allowed for my time there to remain enjoyable. i also cannot rave enough about art therapy (michelle is amazing), yoga, and workout group. furthermore, the presence of the therapy dogs (yeti and gator who are the cutest ever) gave ptt a home-like feeling. during the weekdays we also went to school where the teacher is in constant communication with everyone’s teachers + provided us with any and all assistance accessible, ensuring that grades remained as high as they could be. in my weeks there, i met some of my closest friends and truly the best people. additionally, i remain in contact with my primary therapist as well as other staff, which only emphasizes the grand impact they had on my recovery. ptt exceeded all expectations and ensured that my parents were also in the loop via weekly family sessions, multi-fam group, plus a parent group that my parents attended. there are few things in life that i 100% do not regret and ptt is one of them. if you are nervous about attending (or sending your child there) i promise that you’re in the best hands. i am forever grateful for all of the experiences i got during my time at pacific teen treatment. thank you for everything, ZoTs (12/23/21 - 02/05/22) ps. on wednesday when you go to buyo, the best order is lavender honey ice cream with mochi, trust me! oh also, the passion fruit plant and other trees are totally active and produce amazing produce so i highly recommend going outside every few days and picking up the ripe fruit!

If you are a parent or someone looking for support for a teenager with mental health issues you should definitely reach out to PTT. This place is 5 star, it literally saved our daughter. When our daughter entered PTT she was in a deep depression and was extremely closed off, combative and suicidal.... read more We tried several individual therapists and two different IOP groups unsuccessfully. She was not able to do school, wasn’t motivated to shower and didn’t want to be around her friends. All she talked about was not wanting to live, and what was the point. When she entered PTT she bonded with the other kids there immediately because she knew she was not alone in her struggle and could finally talk to kids her age who could relate to her feelings. PTT provided well trained therapists and staff who really bond with your kids. They are very down to earth. The house is feels safe and cozy and the back yard is huge with a nice little fire pit that they are able to sit at and have group. PTT provides many activities and they have a personal chef! Our daughter decided to go vegetarian during her stay there because they visited a farm and she held a chicken and fell in love with it. She then decided it was sad to eat chicken..but the chef was able to accommodate her for the rest of her stay and made her some fabulous tasting vegetarian meals. She was able to start school again while there. The teacher was very on the ball and was in touch with daughter’s school to get things going. I think it took two days for our daughter to get back into it. It’s so helpful that there is a program/schedule to follow. Nobody is forced to follow along, but I think if they don’t, they feel left out. Even during Covid, PTT was still able to take the kids out frequently to get ice cream or visit a local book store. It made things seem more normal during this state of craziness out there. Our daughter loved the group therapy. There were several activities where her peers could chime in and I think that was helpful for her. There was frequent contact with her 1:1 therapist, family groups and meetings for just my husband and I to get some therapy and feedback. It definitely was family inclusive. Dr. Kim was very involved and thoroughly explained his thoughts and reasoning if he recommended medications. He never pushed his agenda. His recommendation for meds for our daughter helped her to cope. She is still on the same medication routine and it is definitely working. He knows what he is doing. And it was comforting to know, just by coincidence, that when we got home and talked to our daughter’s psychiatrist (whom we love) that he actually went to medical school with Dr. Kim. We are so grateful and thankful to have found PTT. It was definitely the right choice. We have our kid back!!

I LOVE PTT. The entire staff is amazing (like seriously incredible). Kathie and Jeremy are so nice, Dr. Kimn was so helpful, all the therapists made me feel safe and... read more important. The CA’s were so fun but were also always there to talk when I needed it. The teacher was so nice and on top of things so I actually ended up getting ahead in school. The cleaning staff was amazing and so thoughtful. Cyril’s cooking was soooo yummy. We had “house meetings” so the staff would really take into consideration the needs and likes/dislikes of the clients so we always felt heard. The groups we did were really fun and diverse. The outings are fun. The grounds are so pretty. Going into a house with a bunch of random kids was intimidating at first but at the end of the day the environment at PTT made it easy for us all to connect and I have made some really good friends whilst being at PTT, it was really beneficial to know I had people going through something really similar to me. Most importantly PTT has changed my life. I was in a really bad place before PTT (depression, trouble with substances, family issues and more). PTT staff worked with me and my family to help me love life again and I’m very grateful for that. Also the dogs Gator and Yeti are adorable. PTT is honestly the best and I loved my time there and since being out of PTT for around 6 weeks I can confidently say I’m a different person for the better and I love life again. P.S if any of the staff see this I love and miss you guys!!! ZoKr <3

i attended PTT for 15 days in November of 2020 for anxiety and depression related symptoms following a severe suicide attempt. my stay at PTT was short due to the... read more extreme lack of care and negligence i experienced there. i was in crisis most of my time there; self-harming openly everyday, actively suicidal, and engaging in risky behaviors. tragically, i received no help whatsoever. admittedly, i was extremely willful of being sent to residential for (the then) third time, but the staff was embarrassingly unprepared to deal with someone with my behavioral and emotional issues. i could not be more disappointed in the level of care i received there and am grateful i left. below is a list of the most severe examples of their lack of capability, experience, and level of attentiveness to someone with critical issues. - i did not go a day without reopening a self-inflicted wound on my hand. i would openly pick at it (even drawing in notebooks with my blood while sitting at the kitchen table) and was only redirected a total of two times by staff - at the time of my attendance, there was not a teacher present (although they claimed there was one "who just didn't come in"). i needed help coordinating assignments with teachers and preparing college applications, yet despite their advertisements of an on-site teacher, there was no one present. a clinical assistant with no educational experience whatsoever was the stand-in teacher during my time there. she had the audacity to tell me it was my mom's job to reach out to teachers, when that is not, in fact, the expectation that was set with my parents prior to my intake. furthermore, when i attempted to express my frustrations with my parents, a staff monitoring my phone call would interrupt my call and take the phone away on multiple occasions, thus limiting my ability to tell my parents the truth. - i exhibited several signs risky, life-interfering behaviors during my stay there and was never once questioned on the motivations behind my actions or even prompted to discuss them with a therapist - following an EXTREMELY unprofessional group led by three therapists, i became more open about my hatred for the program and refused group. there was no follow-up following the incident in which the three undertrained therapists targeted us five clients of the time for not taking group therapy seriously enough. instead of expressing their emotions in a mature, direct, and professional way, the three adults began mocking our actions of hesitation to therapy. at this point, i was extremely vocal about how inappropriate their behavior was. therapy is intended to be a safe space in which proper interpersonal effectiveness in role-modeled and clients are not shamed for their adversities to the process. i was clear, fair, and largely respectful of how violated i felt during and after the experience. although i made attempts to repair and offer solutions (including making a list of efforts i needed to see made in order for me to feel safe in that environment and speaking directly with one of the primary therapists involved -who cried out of embarrassment for her lack of professionalism and hurt that she caused to multiple students there) i was not taken seriously and no efforts were made on their part. i could go on and on about how astonishingly awful this program is, but i don't have the energy or interest in investing any more time into this place. what i do have to say though, is that if your child is exhibiting any life-threatening behavior or severe mental illness, pacific teen treatment is NOT the place for them. i can honestly say that PTT is nothing more than a glorified PHP program. if your child is looking for a place to connect with kids with similar issues, have minimally enforced structure, and subpar quality therapy in a vacation-like setting, PTT might be a good fit for them. otherwise, i highly recommend sending them to a more qualified place. (paradigm and polaris are similar, but far superior options for care)

Good treatment center for teens who are trying to detox and get away for awhile. The social groups (group therapy) consisting of the clients and only one to two staff... read more members are, from my experience, led by the teens. I got absolutely nothing out of it. One on one therapy sessions truly depend on your therapist. Can go either way. I believe lots of time was wasted when I was here about two years ago, alot of it consisted of sitting around, possibly talking to the other clients you jive with. I personally would never take my future child if they face a crisis, if i'm blessed enough to have one. Some of the staff were INCREDIBLY helpful, a few got under my skin for not really helping much. If your kid 14-17, maybe 18, is truly addicted to any substance or at a crossroads i'd recommend this place, otherwise find elsewhere. This place can be either good or bad for your kid, roll the dice.

All of it was so valuable and provided by caring professionals who did a fantastic job. Be sure to take advantage of these valuable resources and the book recommendations given by the staff as they provide powerful insight into your own behavior as a parent and how you can better support your child. Pacific Teen Treatment was recommended to us at a time when our lives had come to a complete standstill. And while my daughter did not go into the program willingly,... read more she asked to extend twice with the understanding that it was safe to be vulnerable at PTT, safe enough to open up and unpack years of accumulated trauma and depression kept hidden. I cannot adequately express my gratitude to the PTT staff, but those who worked with my daughter and our family directly, as well as those who oversaw her work and our progress throughout those 61 days, were compassionate, honest, and fearless with us 100% of the time…which was not anticipated and rare. As other alumni have stated, the transition home was not smooth, but the work we did as a family laid a solid foundation and we got through this period with greater understanding and mutual respect. I would recommend Pacific Teen Treatment to any family who has a teen in crisis. It changed my daughter’s and our family’s lives forever.

I searched and searched for the best home away from home care for my daughter who has been suffering with depression, anxiety and OCD. I can not express how wonderful Pacific Teen is - This program saved my daughter's life and our family when we were all at our lowest point. She loved every single person from Jeremy to the Therapists - the Psychiatrist - the Staff. She felt safe and cared for. The home is beautiful and peaceful and set back privately. She made life long friendships with her peers there which is so wonderful in the way that she can relate to and share things with them outside of their stay together - that she may not feel comfortable sharing with others. We Felt 100% supported thru the entire process from the first phone call with Jeremy to enquire about the program to her last day there. She loved it there so much she would have gladly stayed longer. Our daughter came home a new person - She has a better understanding as to how her brain works - she has the tools to help manage and understand her emotions. As a family we have gained the tools thru the weekly family therapy sessions and parent therapy sessions at Pacific Teen and from reading the books that were suggested - to help keep her supported and to keep our family functioning in a happy healthy way. Lastly, Pacific Teen does not drop you at the curb after your child's stay - they continue to offer support to your Child and to the Family as needed including suggesting recommendations for the best next step of continued care as a step down from residential treament if needed. Our Daughter is Finally Happy Again - We Got Our Baby Back! My Family and I Will Be Forever Grateful ????

It's not an easy decision when choosing a residential program but it made us feel comfortable knowing we were on this journey with them. The staff was great and always available to help with questions and concerns. Our family will remember PTT fondly and would recommend it to anyone seeking more support for their teen.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I was bullied horribly while I was here by all of the clients. On my first day, we had Rock... read more to Recovery, where the clients all wrote a song about their love for nicotine. I made a comment to them and staff about how it was inappropriate and from that moment on, received endless bullying and hatred from every client. They openly spoke about how horrible I am, cussed me out on multiple occasions in groups, teamed up against me, threatened me if I told staff about them all self harming together, and shamed me constantly for my vulnerability in groups, using it against me throughout my whole time there. The staff told my parents I was paranoid and defended the clients ruthlessly. I am horribly traumatized from this place. My parents finally were convinced of the abuse taking place here and took me to another residential after I had developed Stockholm syndrome and was put on so many meds that they convinced my parents I needed. I am still recovering from the horrible trauma this place caused me and I am absolutely repulsed by this place and how I was treated. You or your child do not deserve the neglect and abuse I received while I stayed here. BNI, Ascend Health, and Avalon are three amazing residentials I would recommend. Do not go here under any circumstances.

I wanted to thank you all so much and will forever be grateful for finding and being part of such a wonderful place as Pacific Teen Treatment, which you all... read more make possible. The progress our son made during his time with you at PTT is simply incredible and my family, especially myself, have benefited so much. I can only describe it as an “amazing journey”. I wish we could have met under different circumstances but wouldn’t have wanted a different team to guide and bring us up from the lowest point of our life. Thank you for helping our family get through our time of crisis. The caring attention, correspondence, professionalism, pinpointing and making me aware of things I was blind to, while getting our son to open up and realize he’s not in it alone and that he and people can change, is something I admire. With our son now transitioned home we acknowledge that there still is a lot more individual and family work that has to happen but as a family system we are all much better off. Our home is calm, topics are discussed, and timeouts are taken when needed. We have all learned how to identify what we are feeling and how to better express our feelings in a non-blaming way. We are spending time together; our son is interacting with his sister and it’s a pleasure to see our son smile. Creating a Home Contract with the clinical team prior to coming home really helped establish a framework for communication, respect and understanding. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

Mental health, we take it for granted until life shows us that we can't. This is certainly the case for us and our family. After two hospitalizations in a one... read more month span for severe depression with seeming psychosis, we were in a bad place with our young teen. We felt lost, alone and very much lacking in the skills necessary to continue to raise day to day someone who was this ill. Truly a miracle, on a whim, I reached out to Pacific Teen Treatment (PTT) and immediately felt saved. Jeremy, the company's founder, personally handled all of my initial concerns and questions as we wrestled with the very difficult decision to place our daughter in a 30 plus day residential program. He made magic happen and just days later, our daughter, lost and seemingly lacking in life light, was taken in to PTT with open, caring and expert arms. Over the next 33 days, with the astounding care of the entire PTT team including Mariana, her individual therapist and Angela, the family therapist, our sweet daughter came back to life! Needless to say, I could write pages about the wonders that is this program. How can words alone suffice what PTT has done for not only my daughter, but our entire family? The program has it all- individual daily therapy, group therapy, family therapy, therapeutic school time, all facilitated by licensed therapists. Plus, the program has 24 hour care and supervision all in a gorgeous and spacious facility that felt like an ocean paradise to this desert dweller. Along with therapy, PTT offers a licensed nutritionist who works along side their full-time chefs who prepare the most delicious, healing meals each day. The program also has clinical interns who bring a caring, yet more youthful demeanor to the center. Pacific Teen Treatment truly rescued us. From the darkness we now have light. As others have mentioned, mental health is precarious and our journey will continue to have tougher days and long nights. However, thanks to this program we are ready. We are strong. We have hope!

They are all highly trained professionals, very pleasant to work with, and most importantly, involve the teens in a variety of ways to help them absorb what they are there to learn and experience. The place is in a beautiful and comfortable setting, and the food is amazing. Our daughter learned so much about the importance of good, healthy nutrition. Our local mental health options... read more were either closed doors, scheduled too far out, or not what we were looking for. The first call to Jeremy was scary for me, but quickly reassuring that this program could be the right fit. And the availability was what we hoped for. The staff is approachable, professional, and caring. Therapy is hard work, but there is still time for fun. And Malibu is hard to dislike. The approach on individual AND family involvement as valuable cannot be overstated - the whole family learns through the process. Treatment and therapy for the adolescent cannot happen in a bubble. So if I could give any advice: as much as it might be difficult on your time or schedule or finances, DO NOT miss Family Saturdays. Those days were so special and hard and therapeutic for our family; they were worth every bit of investment. We are currently 2 weeks post-discharge after our son's 38-day treatment, and adjustment to him home has been bumpy - not going to lie. But what we've all learned through the program has been completely life-changing for us, how we communicate and approach the bumps. We are immeasurably thankful and appreciative to the care, work, and support of Pacific Teen. Keep up the good work.

We honestly can say enough good things about PTT. Considering a place to send you child during a difficult time in their life is a next to impossible thing to... read more do. We called a few different places, but when we called PTT we knew we found the right place. Jeremy was kind, patient and took the time to answer all our questions. He described the before, during and after processes in great detail. Once we decided to send our child there, he took care of the rest. Arriving at PTT to drop off our child was a very difficult day, but the staff and facility quickly made us feel at ease. The house is very nice, clean and welcoming. You cant find a much better location then in Malibu. EVERY staff member at PTT truly cares for the kids. They have a great program where they combine therapy, healthy eating, fun activities and school work into a busy but very productive day. They have individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, art therapy, yoga, exercise, surfing, paddle boarding, horseback riding, hikes, bowling and many more fun activities that the kids truly enjoy. Our child and our entire family learned so much. We realized that our reactions as parents to certain situations were contributing to the problem. We learned many different approaches to these situations which allow us to better communicate with our child. Our child was actually very sad to leave the staff and other clients on the last day of treatment. We know that we may have times of difficulty in the future, but we feel we can get thru it now thanks to PTT. Thank you so much to all the staff at PTT for everything you did for our child and our family.

When we realized our son needed a higher level of care, residential treatment scared the hell out of us! We called several facilities across the country and became even more... read more skeptical when learned about other programs. Most facilities were "lock-down" facilities and focused on a punitive style of therapy. We later learned how outdated this method was and decided against programs that appeared to only "warehouse" struggling kids. I couldn't understand or come to grips with this style of punitive treatment when our son had done nothing wrong, he just needed someone to understand him and learn how to cope and heal. When we made the call to Pacific Teen Treatment, Jeremy knew exactly where we were sitting and gave us hope for treatment...treatment not only our son, but for our entire family! I have been trying to come up with the words to capture the beauty and love put into the program at PTT. Our son was there for 2 months and received the best care. Each staff member from director, therapist, clinical assistant and chef contributes their unique talents and gifts to the program and the families they serve. They do so without question or judgement which is what mattered most to my son. The education we received as parents will be treasured and put to good use throughout our lifetime. We understand that there will still be bumps along the road but we feel more confident every day and we are thankful for the continued support of PTT even after discharge! It's never easy trusting someone to care for your child, even more so when your child is struggling. Confidence was established immediately at PTT which made trust that much easier! Thank you Pacific Teen! You've changed our lives for the better!

Our son was at Pacific Teen for close to 6 weeks. Once we spoke to the owner Jeremy I knew instantly it would be a good fit. He was... read more knowledgeable, kind and knew we had a rush on getting our son in and was willing to work with us quickly without making money the top priority as many places do. He walked us through what would be the best way to helped with the current treatment team to facilitate getting our son there without trauma based on his history. It worked perfectly. They were so kind and loving to him once we arrived. The clinicians that we have worked with through our our stay have been unbelievable. Oliver and Angela were our assigned Therapists. Both of whom were communicative with my husband and I as needed. The changes in our son were very noticeable. We got check ins from his Therpist which helped us understand his progress, share our concerns or even maybe where we needed to make some changes to help him. The family therapy is wonderful as are the family days. They are intense and hard but you get so much out of them. The teacher who also happens to be a Therpist which is great worked wonderfully with our son and have wonderful recommendations on some ways to work with him at hime on homework. The techs also known as “homies with boundaries” were great. The kids love them. They are engaging and fun. The chef is so cool and nice and the food is tasty and incredible. Very lucky kids. The activities they get to participate in were challenging and interesting for our son. He did things he had never wanted to do before and I’m some cases had been afraid. The togetherness between the kids and positive energy is wonderful to see how they support one another through really a painful and hard time.the aftercare planning was coordinated about 10 days prior to us leaving which was great so it’s didn't feel rushed. It’s also all balanced with enough fun so that it gives time to decompress from all the hard work they are doing. I really would recommend Pacific Teen.

They were easy to talk to and kept the kids busy with activities/sessions. The kids are always supervised 100% of the time. The therapists taught my daughter some very effective ways to communicate and she is now teaching me. One of the biggest changes I have seen with my daughter is spending less time on social media. (the kids do not have access to their cell phones) My daughter learned a lot about herself staying at Pacific Teen Treatment.
