Born and raised in the San Fernando Valley region of Los Angeles County, Orlando received his bachelor’s degree in Family Studies with an emphasis in Family Services from California State University, Northridge, and his master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University.
Orlando has primarily worked with children, adolescents, and adults in clinical settings. For about 5 years, Orlando was working exclusively with adolescents and young adults on the Autism Spectrum for a local non-profit, as a clinician and a case manager. Orlando has been trained in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Mindfulness approaches. Orlando’s approach begins with building a strong therapeutic relationship with clients and being empathic to their journey.
