Jamie Whitney is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with specialized training in Child and Adolescent Therapy. She earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University-Los Angeles where she worked in the Antioch University Counseling Center. Jamie grew up in Louisville, Kentucky and obtained her bachelor’s degree from Indiana University. Before entering the mental health field, she worked in both the fashion and fitness industries. Her time spent in the fitness field led her to seek more formal training and the ability to help others on a deeper level. Jamie believes a sense of trust, safety and security are fundamental to the success of the therapeutic process. Her work centers on providing empathy, compassion, and understanding in order to establish a positive and secure therapeutic relationship.
