Bailey is originally from northwest Virginia and received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Virginia Tech University in Blacksburg, Virginia. She went on to receive her master’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Social Work. Bailey’s previous experience includes working on an inpatient adolescent unit in the Denver area, supporting hospitalized youth along with their families. After moving to California, Bailey served on the frontlines of the homeless crisis in Los Angeles by providing mental health, substance use, and crisis intervention support to unhoused, at-risk youth. Bailey approaches her work with compassion, empathy, and unconditional positive regard for her clients.
