Alex is originally from the city of Chicago and obtained his bachelor’s degree from Wesleyan University in Connecticut where he received a liberal arts education. Alex went on to receive his masters in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University in Los Angeles. Alex has most recently been working at the Maple Counseling Center in Beverly Hills where he was trained in a psychodynamic therapeutic approach. Prior to joining the PTT team, Alex co-founded and co-directed a mentorship program in New York City called the Marcie Bloom Fellowship. Alex brings to the Pacific team an appreciation for the fact that each individual may process their experiences on a physical, emotional, spiritual and cognitive level. Alex believes, as a result, therapy is unique to each individual and must incorporate many different therapeutic approaches.
